About the Arbor Coda
The Coda Camber Splitboard is, as the name suggests, Arbor's split version of the Coda snowboard allowing you to access the entire mountain by providing a comfortable ascent and a powerful, surfy ride down the mountain.
The Coda Split features their Highland Split Core, based on their Highland core, it's constructed from a 1:2 poplar to paulownia blend for super lightweight performance, with additional insert and centerline components. Alongside the Highland Split Core, Arbor has used a mixed glassing layup, a triax over biax construction for great versatility. Internally, the Coda split features two carbon fibre uprights that run from tip to tail to provide added durability and pop.
Arbor has used their Grip Tech to create added heel and toe contact points that improve edge control on snow and ice. The design creates a more ergonomic and direct connection to the snow for improved handling and response time.
The Coda Split has a Sintered+ Base, the highest density and fastest base material that Arbor offers.
Arbor has used the Karakoram UltraClip, the new and improved splitboard clip that is powerful, light and really simple to use. Once joined, the UltraClip fully constrains the seam of your splitboard to eliminate seam rattling, seam shearing, and seam rolling. The lever locks in the touring position as well to eliminate unwanted movement on the ascent.
The Coda Splitboard is the essential tool for a comfortable ascent and a powerful downhill ride while touring outside the resort.
