The Arbor Cypress Binding has a freeride-specific design for riders who like their lines a little more challenging and want to bring the park to the backcountry.
An innovative Baseplate transfers rider input out to four heel-and-toe convergence zones, improving communication and control of your edge. The baseplate limits the binding’s direct contact with the board to the disk and convergence zones, creating a more natural flex underfoot, reducing binding flat spots, and eliminating rigid board contact.
The Cypress binding has a light, stiff and laterally supportive asymmetrical highback. These Low–mounted highbacks allow a rider’s boot to slide in clean, with 5° pre–rotation to provide a more ergonomic feel and freedom of movement when riding. These highbacks will sit more naturally against the shape of your boot and will provide more efficient energy transfer and comfort.
2024: Stronger, lighter, more sustainable, and the first of its kind; Arbor's innovative plant-based BioStrap takes the place of harmful petrol-based plastics focusing on heel lock and secure fit, with a comfortable curvature and low profile, single-injection ankle strap. Nowadays, saving the planet is growing in importance every day, so Arbor designed this eco-friendly strap to be more sustainable than its standard plastic compound.
For added custom support the Aluminum Heelcup is adjustable, which will help you fine-tune your stance width for a more comfortable ride. A 2 XD footbed provides impact absorption, comfort and improved feel so you can ride longer, reducing stress on your joints so you can tackle the roughest and toughest runs you can find.

The arbor cypress bindings are the worst constructed binding I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. As soon as you begin to change the sizing of the bindings you quickly come to realise that all the screws have been painted in as well as having screws that do not fit into the holes intended for them. I have been trying to unstick a bolt from a hole for almost an hour now to no avail. DO NOT BUY. Is it possible to rate them zero stars
From great performing backcountry gear, to top-of-the-range freestyle products, to daily drivers that will last the rider longer and make his snowboarding more effortless, Arbor has the right board on offer to suit any type of snowboarder.
