About the Armada ARW 86
Back for 2021 the award-winning ARW series returns for the female skier that wants to make the whole mountain their playground. Armada has a long history in making lively, poppy all mountain freestyle skis, and the ARW 86 is no different.
With an 86mm waist, the ARW definitely airs towards park first but is versatile and nimble with fairly soft flex, ideal for cruising on groomers, and searching for jibbable features. Armada’s poplar Ash core gives a springy, lively feel to the ski, so no matter where you are you’ll find the fun in skiing. A lightweight wood runs the length of the skis whilst hardwood stringers feature underfoot for great and stability to power into turns and tree runs. Camber underfoot adds pop and drive to the ski, whilst cap construction in the tip and tail reduces the swing weight and provides easy turn initiation and control of speed.
Armada’s spin tip consists of partially hollowed tips to further reduce swing weight, so you can turn those 1’s into 3’s with ease. Armada's S7 sintered base is super durable and requires minimal maintenance whilst their 2.2mm heat-treated impact edges can withstand anything you throw them into.

- 2.2 Impact Edge - Armada's mid-width ski edges, these are heat treated and built to be durable while avoiding excess weight.
