About the Bataleon Astro Asym

The Astro AsymWrap snowboard bindings from Bataleon offer you a fusion of high-tech performance with all the comfort you could wish for. Built on the AsymWrap chassis, the Astros deliver a more mellow side-to-side flex without sacrificing control.

With this sweet mix of chassis and material, plus the Infinity Ankle Strap, your ankles won't pay the price for that perfect edge-to-edge response. The Infinity Toe Strap features a hinged 3D AuxTech® pattern that fits any boot perfectly. Additionally, the perforated nylon composite FullBack offers plenty of heelside control and maximum support during heavy landings. For super-easy entry and exit, the Fast Entry Pop Ladders™ simply pop open when released, so you can spend more time riding and less time messing about with your bindings.

The performance-enhancing features on the Astro AsymWrap snowboard bindings are mega, the flex is stiff yet surfy, and they're tailor-made for all-mountain riders who want all-day comfort, convenience, and epic feel. All in all, be prepared to feel connected to your board like never before.

  • Size Adjustable Base - The heel cup can be adjusted to help you to centre your boot perfectly in the binding
  • FullBack Highback -These nylon composite injected highbacks are lightweight and supportive with a mid-stiff flex for precise edge control
  • Canted and adjustable padding
  • Infinity AysmWrap Ankle Strap - One-piece construction that’s lightweight and bombproof. The pre-curved, ergonomic design spreads pressure evenly across the foot and offers an ideal level of freestyle flex
  • Kink Ladders™ - Allow you to change the feel of your binding by choosing a low or a high connection point for your ankle strap
  • Bulletproof Buckles - Super solid, die-cast aluminum ratchets that will never let you down. Featuring a triple-tooth action for super fast strap closure
  • TwoStep Toeladder - Select from two positions on each side of the binding to customize the fit for any boot shape and size
  • Highback Rotation - Angle your highback parallel to the heelside edge for the most efficient power transfer
  • ToadGrip Heelrubber - A grippy rubber traction pad protects the back of your boot and keeps it locked in at all times
  • Adjustable Forward Lean - Moving the forward lean adjustment to the highback mounting points enabled us to eliminate the clip on the rear and deliver a more consistent flex pattern
  • Fast Entry Pop Ladders™ - Designed for easy binding entry and exit. The strap’s concave shape is designed to pop open when released, ensuring you won’t be fighting to get in and out of your bindings giving you more time to ride
  • Infinity Toestrap - Features 3D Auxetic Shape Technology – A hinged pattern that expands perfectly around your boot without stretching or distorting the material for unmatched grip and comfort
  • Dual density footpad - Combines a super durable rubber top layer with an EVA foam core for supreme dampening and support
With over 20 years experience leading the snowboarding industry with their innovative 3D shape technology, its no surprise that Bataleon has grown to be the loved brand that it is today since their early beginnings in 2000.
