About the Bataleon Camel Two
Building on the legendary Camel Toe, the Camel 2 is the ultimate directional freeride snowboard.
The Camel 2 has Directional Triple Base Technology (3BT), this has been designed with a narrow center base and maximum uplift with SideKick in the nose, which provides a catch-free ride along with unparalleled uplift in powder. The Camel 2 also rips groomers and hard packs with its grippy camber profile & maneuverable tapered shape.
Bataleon has used Biaxial laminate, their traditional and time-tested two-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong, and responsive; keeping the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness. The Light Core, a 50-50 Swiss paulownia and poplar woods blend, provides optimal strength-to-weight properties.
The Hyper Glide S base used in the Camel 2 is Bataleon's standard sintered base; a tough, fast base, which is easy to maintain.
Bataleon has used both Carbon Stringers and their Dual Super Tubes in the Camel 2. Carbon stingers can make a significant difference in how a board performs; by positioning strips of carbon fiber we can fine-tune the flex, pop, edge hold, response, and dampen chatter. While the Dual Super Tube wood core upgrade is made up of two hollow carbon rods which have been milled into the bottom of the core to enhance pop and give the camber more snap.
The Camel 2 from Bataleon is the next step in all-mountain directional riding.
