About the Bataleon Evil Twin
The Evil Twin is the board that started it all. The Limited Edition version of the 2021 Evil Twin is one of Bataleon's most versatile true twin snowboards. Whether you’re sending jumps, hitting the jib line or buttering across some fresh groomers, it's difficult to find a more versatile snowboard than the award-winning Evil Twin.
The Twin Triple base technology (3BT) makes for excellent park and all-mountain riding with its cambered profile, driving power through the board's edges for solid edge hold & pressurises the nose & tail for explosive pop. The base uplift angle is mellow becoming more dramatic at the widest areas of the board. It offers a loose jib feel while the wide centerbase makes it stable on takeoffs, landings, in presses and at high speeds. Designed for terrain parks and overall freestyle riding.
Side Kick Tip tech from Bataleon will enhance the performance of the 3BT base increasing sidebase uplift on the widest parts of the nose and tail. This creates incredibly smooth turn initiations, and enhances overall board stability in rough terrain and in powder.
The Evil Twin features Bataleon's new Ultra Light core, a 70-30 Swiss paulownia and poplar wood blend for an unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio. Tri-axial laminates are laid above and below the core for enhanced durability & snap whilst carbon stringers energise the Evil Twin on hard landings & fast railing turns. This creates a board that has the power and strength to charge, boosting lips, hits & features with your friends and the flexibility to hold buttery presses and slay rails in the park.
This model of the Evil Twin has their Central Super Tube wood core upgrade, which features a centrally placed hollow carbon rod milled into the bottom of the core to enhance pop without stiffening the board torsionally. Combining this with carbon stringers, a feather light and adds explosive pop, precise edge control, reactive response and smooth dampening to a board.
The Evil Twin rides everything on the mountain with strength and power for advanced riders, whilst also remaining forgiving enough for riders looking to progress and find their area of expertise.
