About the Bataleon The Jam
The Bataleon Jam has been built to do it all. This all mountain freestyle snowboard is for experienced riders who are looking to ride the whole mountain.
The Jam uses Freestyle Triple Base Technology (3BT) with medium uplifting side bases creating a catch free ride for buttering the jam & freakishly good powder float. With tip to tail regular camber the Jam holds a solid edge on all snow conditions, making it easy to drive the board through turns & transitions generating tons of pop.
The Super Ultra Light Core has been used in the 2021 Jam, this is Bataleon's lightest core made from a 80-20 blend of Swiss paulownia and poplar. The core also features Bataleon's Air Ride, whereby strips have been milled out of the core and replaced with fibreglass, which makes riding at higher speeds super smooth.
Specially blended Triax Plus laminates refine the torsional control while full tip to tail carbon stringers give the Jam a snappy & responsive medium flex.
The Jam features a Dual Radial Super Tube woodcore upgrade, which features six hollow carbon core inserts parallel to the board radius for extra power transfer to the edge.
With Side Kick Tips, this tech from Bataleon will enhance the performance of the 3BT base increasing side base uplift on the widest parts of the nose and tail. This creates incredibly smooth turn initiations, enhances overall board stability in rough terrain and in powder.
Batelon have filled the Jam with tech, topped of by the use of their Ultra Glide S base which has the maximum molecular content for a hardened sintered base and more molecules mean a denser, more durable base.
