The Bataleon Surfer snowboard packs some serious power that will have you throwing pow like crazy. The ultra-wide 3D nose and deep cut offer effortless float on the deepest of powder days.
The Surfer uses Bataleon's Directional 3BT profile; a narrow center base that provides exceptional edge-to-edge performance, with more side lift in the giant 3D nose, it's super easy to keep the nose up in pow and easy to turn in all conditions. The swallowtail sinks into deep snow & provides power to groomers, this has been complimented with a mellow cambered body throughout the board making The Surfer incredibly smooth riding, poppy, and versatile to any snow conditions.
SideKick™ dramatically increases the side base uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder, and handling of the board in rough terrain. It has to be ridden to be believed!
The Surfer has Bataleon's new Ultra Light core, an 70-30 blend of Swiss paulownia & poplar woods for a great strength-to-weight ratio which provides a responsive underfoot ride that feels like you're floating when in powder. Wrapped with Bataleon's own special blend of Triax Plus fiberglass & enhanced with carbon stringers running strategically into the nose & tail. This creates a responsive ride that will stand up to any line you choose.
The AirRide™ core additive dampens vibration, making for a smoother ride at high speeds. Part of the wood core has been milled out and replaced with fiberglass, the resulting reduction in vibration makes it feel like the board has a suspension system.
The Surfer's setback inserts will keep you ready for riding nose high on the mega-deep pow dumps, set back your stance & take away that back leg burn so you can lap all day long.

- Directional 3BT - This board has a longer, wider nose combined with a shorter, narrower tail, as well as more uplift in the nose which provides effortless float facing forwards.
- Ultra Light Core - Very light 70-30 Swiss Paulownia and Poplar wood blend for unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio
- PreCured Carbon Stringers - This board has two carbon stringers running from each insert to the contact points. This adds torsional stiffness for more stability, more power in the tail for stronger backseat turns, and more strength in the nose for punching through deep powder and over rough snow.
- TRIAX Laminates - A special blend of triaxial fiberglass above & below the wood core, lighter & stronger than traditional fiberglass to provide a unique flex pattern & delivers precision riding.
- AirRide™ - An additive we include within the wood core of select models, which dampens vibrations and makes riding smoother at high speeds.
- Hyper Glide S Base - The Hyper Glide S base is the standard sintered base from Bataleon. Tough and fast, and even faster when you keep it waxed.
- Dual Radial SuperTubes™ - Similar to DST but with four extra Super Tubes (six in total) running parallel to the board radius, delivering extra power to the edges.
- Side Kick Tips - Increases side base lift for smoother turns, float in powder, and stability in all terrains enhancing 3BT advantages.
