About the Bataleon Thunder Bolt
The high-spec big brother of the Thunder, the Bataleon Thunder Bolt Hybrid 3BT Camber Snowboard is the ultimate ride for advanced and expert freeride snowboarders who want to explore the whole mountain.
The Thunder Bolt has Freeride Triple Base Technology (3BT), this has a narrow centre base with more side base uplift area and angle in the nose than in the tail. The tapered shape, sidecut, and setback stance are optimized for backseat steering, high-speed traction and maximum powder float while the narrow centre base generates swift edge-to-edge transfer and powerful carves.
The core is the lightest in Bataleon's 2022 line and consists of an 80-20 Swiss paulownia and poplar wood blend providing optimal strength. Dual Radial Super Tubes and AirRide technology create even more lightness and give a really smooth ride. Carbon stringers make a significant difference in how a board performs; by positioning strips of carbon fibre we can fine-tune the flex, pop, edge hold, response and dampen chatter.
Bataleon has used Triaxial laminate, a three-way weave of fibreglass that is light, strong and responsive, this increases torsional stiffness and in turn, makes for a really responsive ride. Then there is the race-grade Nano Speed S Sintered Base - the fastest money can buy.
For expert riders who are looking for a truly powerful, faultless ride, the Thunder Bolt Snowboard from Bataleon is a perfect choice. Made in limited numbers, this unique and special board comes with a custom-fitted travel sleeve.

- Carbon Stringers - Carbon is feather light and adds explosive pop, precise edge control, reactive response and smooth dampening to a board. It is used in different ways to fine- tune a board’s ride characteristics.
