About the Bern Team Macon EPS
The Macon is Bern's core all season ski/snowboard helmet that can be upgraded and used all year round for skate, bike and snow sports. The Macon is a further evolution of the Bern Watts helmet but comes without the peak for a lower profile, clean style. All over venting helps keep you cool in summer or winter skate sessions, long cycle rides or laps through the park.
The Macon features easily adjustable straps and a secure chin strap buckle with BOA liner. This system utilises a wheel on the rear of the helmet which cinches the liner to keep the fit snug and secure. The liners can be removed as they're secured into the helmet with tough poppers and velcro, this means you can easily wash the liner to keep your helmet fresh. You can also upgrade a winter Bern Macon helmet for summer use by adding a Bern Summer Liner (sold separately).
The Team edition has a fully upholstered interior for a performance fit and the helmet comes with high quality waxed canvas earpads which are highly durable and water repellent to keep the elements at bay.
