About the Bern Watts 2.0 MIPS

The Bern Watts 2.0 ski/snowboard helmet maintains all the best features of the original OG Watts but adds a dose of new technology including Mips protection and a compass fit system. This versatile bit of head protection is also certified for bike and skate use as well as on the snow.

The fit on the Watts 2.0 has been updated with Bern's integrated compass fit system. This system utilises a dial to adjust the fit to whatever suits you and will make it feel like the helmet was designed specifically with you in mind!

Bern have included MIPS (multi-directional impact protection system) technology in this version of the Watts 2.0 ski/snowboard helmet. MIPS is an intelligent, multi-layered liner system that allows the foam liner to slightly rotate independently from your head and ultimately minimise the amount of rotational force that is transferred to the brain on impact.

This MIPS technology is then combined with a DSI Dual Shell that meets certifications for both bike and snow. This shell combines a Zipmold+ and PVC lower shell with a tough ABS top shell for all-round and lightweight comfort and protection.

Additional features of the Watts 2.0 include a series of vents to help keep you cool in spring and summer. There is also a water-resistant LED light powered up to 6.6 lumens and up to 10 hours on the lowest settings that can be recharged via micro-USB.
