About the Black Crows Serpo
Following its success the Captis is back for 2021 with its dialled in construction providing excellent all mountain freestyle performance. The Captis is an average width (by today’s standards) ski that is aimed at riders who are going to be ripping groomers, lapping the park and making the whole mountain their playground. The construction of the ski allows it to be very powerful yet playful at the same time.
With its 90mm waist, the Captis is very fast edge-to-edge, which is perfect for carving on hardpack or nimbly navigating between features in the park. A semi-cap construction is used to get the best of both worlds- sidewall along most of the skis edge gives the ski a powerful edge hold and cap construction in the tip and tail saves weight and softens the ski, allowing for a playful feel for jibbing.
Rockered tip & tail allows for smooth riding forwards or switch, as well as fluid turn initiation and plenty of pivot for variable conditions, and stability at high speeds or in landings is no problem thanks to traditional camber underfoot. The Ski's full poplar wood core is reinforced with biaxial and triaxial fibreglass weave which improves the torsional rigidity of the ski without adding the extra weight of metal laminates, resulting in a ski that is strong even at very high speeds and holds a great edge it's laying down carves on piste or slicing up the wall of a halfpipe.
The Black Crows Captis is perfectly suited to the all-mountain freestyler looking for a fast and powerful ski to take down groomers, through the park and off the side.
