About the Black Diamond ATC
The ATC is Black Diamond's classic Air Traffic Controller. This lightweight, classic belay device set the benchmark for simple, easy-to-use devices and is really versatile, it's completely at home with everything from indoor rock climbing to alpine ice climbing! The design features a large surface area that dissipates heat when lowering or rappelling, and the smooth-handling geometry accommodates rope sizes from 7.7 mm to 11 mm. This is a great, solid, versatile belay and rappelling device which caters for twin ropes and only weighs 60g!
