About the Black Diamond Capitan Kids MIPS
Designed specifically for the next breed of rock monkies ready to embrace the crag and to cycle back after ascending their first V5 the Capitan Kids Helmet is a children's rock climbing helmet that is dual certified for both climbing and cycling.
The unit is based off of the iconic Capitan design featuring a 2 piece conduction of both ABS and dual density EPS foam. The Capitan adheres to and surpassed the UIAA increased back and side protection requirements for climbing while still allowing the head to remain cool thanks to ventilation in the shell.
A low-profile suspension system allows the helmet to adapt to your child's anatomically unique head. Integrated headlamp clips combine with an elastic keeper to attach a child's headlamp to the helmet for night climbs or more realistically late evening bike rides.
For pure entertainment and to stop your child from distracting you whilst on the send the helmet comes with a sticker pack, to allow your child to customise the look of their helmet.
