About the Black Diamond Distance Tent + Adaptor

Crafted for the outdoor minimalist, the Distance Tent with Adaptor gives you one of Black Diamond's lightest, 3-season backpacking tents to date. With a pack-weight of just 750g and size of 30 x 13 cms, the Distance Tent is perfect for fast-and-light outdoor activities - from wild camping to bikepacking and alpine use.

The Distance Tent is designed to be pitched using trekking poles (not included) and comes with a small DAC cross pole and pole adaptors that attach a trekking pole on either side to create a single-pole tunnel structure with stake-out points and guy lines anchoring the tent for stability. Reflective guylines combine polyester with a Dyneema core to deliver high-strength without stretching in wet conditions.

The pole adaptors let you pitch the tent with a wide variety of trekking poles although, for the best pairing (and a slightly lighter pack-weight), the Distance Tent has been designed to be used directly with the Distance Carbon AR compact trekking poles.

Inside, there's room for up to two people with single door access. A headlamp pocket lets you attach lighting with vents in the peak and foot allowing for cross ventilation and moisture management. A 30D polyester single-wall fabric keeps the pack weight low, folding down to the size of a Nalgene bottle to stow easily in a backpack or even hand-luggage.
