Heimplanet deliver innovative products that push the bar on quality, performance and design. They strive to find better fabrics, fairer working conditions, better-trained manufacturers, cleaner production routes and more thoughtful designs.
Heimplanet was founded in Hamburg, Germany in 2009 following Stefan Klaus and Stefan Schultz' two and a half year development process in designing their innovative inflatable tent, 'The Cave', after finding themselves trying to erect a tent on the Portuguese coast after dark and in inclement weather. From this inspirational seed, the Stefans realised that campers, hikers and adventurers needed a new tent concept that was easy to set-up in any condition, with minimal fuss and could offer durability and high performance again and again.

From this single concept, Heimplanet has grown to deliver a range of modular, inflatable tents, alongside technical tarps and a spectrum of bags, from everyday commuting to hiking through the rough wilderness, alongside a foray into quality t-shirts and beanies for hiking also.



Continuing to improve on their designs, Heimplanet strive to find better fabrics, fairer working conditions, better-trained manufacturers, cleaner production routes and more thoughtful designs; forever striving to not rest on their already impressive laurels, but to exceed expectations and fuel their ambitious nature.


Delivering a range of versatile, technical products with a clean and simple design, Heimplanet work off the ethos of the German word <i>Heimat</i> - 'the place where you feel at home, the place where you belong, the place where you feel committed, the place that gives you the feeling that everything will somehow be okay, no matter what.' Each product that they develop is intended to let you bring that feeling of home and belonging with you on adventurers around the world.
