All helmets do not need to look the same - Sandbox snowboard, ski and skate helmets have a unique street / skate inspired look and individual style. For snowboard and ski, choose either the Sandbox Classic 2.0 Snow, with it’s distinctive peak which not only looks good, it helps keep snow and sun off your goggles and out of your eyes, or the standard Icon Snow - which comes without a peak and has removable ear pads. Both helmets come with Sandbox’s dial-in fit system so your helmet should fit nice and snug. Both helmets also come with removable ear pads - keep them on for winter warmth - or remove them for skate / bike.

If you are after a pure skate helmet, buy a Sandbox Classic 2.0 Snow or Icon Snow and chuck away the ear pads or go for the Sandbox Brain Bucket 2.0 (with peak) or the Sandbox Brain Bucket Icon (no peak).

Sandbox was started by Kevin Sansalone almost by accident. Whilst growing up in Vancouver, Canada Kevin became immersed in the world of snowboarding. Caught up in the whirlwind that was the growth of the industry he became a sponsored rider entering competitions, riding for magazines and producing Sandbox Films. This led to the creation of Sandbox helmets which are totally rider inspired and developed. Sandbox continues to create products which defy the norm including their famous peaked helmet. The Sandbox mission always has been and always will be to produce tough-as-hell helmets that people will actually want to ride in.
