About the Capita Mercury
A favourite of the Capita pro team, the Mercury is the all-mountain board of choice for the likes of Kevin Backstrom and Arthur Longo. From powder to jumps and laps of the park, the Mercury is renowned for its all terrain versatility.
The 2021 Mercury uses Capita's Resort V2 camber profile, an all-terrain shape, which has a raised camber platform through the inserts, to retain high-speed edge hold through variable terrain, elevated contact points to land and float in powder and Flat Kick tip and tail arcs for faster, more aggressive transitions.
Capita have used their super lightweight FSC Certified Panda Core, which has bamboo power rods for extra pop. The Holysheet fibreglass used in the Mercury's lay up has a higher strenght to weight ratio than normal fibreglass, and it has been impregnated with a high performance, plant based Magic Bean resin for a powerful and dynamic ride. The grid woven tech tape used in the nose and tail provides the response of carbon along with the dampening of flax, in the form of Capita's Amplitex V-Tech Amplifier.
the Mercury comes with a Multitech Level 6 DeepSpace Silkscreen topsheet with metallic underlay for a premium look and the Hyperdrive sintered base, exclusively formulated for Capita, is highly durable, holds wax well and is super fast.
