About the Demon Flex - Force X D3O V5
When you love to shred snow and dirt, the Demon Flexforce X V5 D3O Top is the ultimate in upper body protection. And the new X V5 provides an entirely new platform of protection and comfort.
D3O technology is a patented smart material known for its use in protective gear and impact-resistant products. The material is soft and flexible at rest, but upon impact, it instantly hardens due to non-Newtonian polymers within a dilatant fluid. This unique property allows D3O to provide effective impact protection without sacrificing comfort or flexibility. Widely applied in sports, industrial, electronics, and military contexts, D3O is utilized in helmets, knee pads, gloves, and other gear, offering a combination of comfort and enhanced impact resistance by dynamically adapting its stiffness in response to sudden forces.
The X V5 was designed from the ground up to be the ultimate in all-season Shredding. The V5 is lighter, more breathable and offers more protection and adjustability than the V2. Demon have utilised the D3O T6 protection on the shoulders and elbows providing additional impact deflection and absorption.
They've also adjusted the cut, fit, and ventilation, with added padding included for extra rib, bicep, stomach and lower back protection. The X V5 also comes factory direct with a chest pad which you can upgrade to a CE D3O and added foam in the elbows, shoulders and back.
There's plenty of handy tech in the X V5 too. This includes an ergonomic side zipper for easy entry and full frontal protection, together with integrated X-Connect Technology to connect Demon shorts or pants for gap-free protection.
With a lightweight, athletic lycra/mesh material, the X V5 D3O is ultra comfortable and easily worn in all terrains from the slopes to the trails. Perfect for adding protection to your chest and sternum!
