About the Demon Flexmeter Double Sided D3O
The Flexmeter Double Sided Wrist Guard is a ski/snowboard glove with an inbuilt protective wrist guard that offers all the protection that a rider needs out on the slopes. Using integrated D3O wrist protection and a Dupont Hytrel splint, the guard protects the wrist from falls whilst riding.
D3O is a soft flexible material that will shape to your body comfortably. The big change happens when it takes an impact, all the polymers lock together protecting you against the impact. This means that the harder the impact, the greater the resistance to the force.
The Flexmeter Dual features Demon’s Flexmeter Double wrist guard that has thermoplastic Hytrel splints on top of the guard and along the heel of the wrist to stop the wrist from over bending, preventing sprains and fractures. An added soft-gel layer is fitted in between the wrist and the splint for a better fit and more comfort. Studies have shown the Flexmeter protective wrist guard to be 67% safer when compared with not wearing protective equipment, making them an essential for snowboarders, and in particular beginner snowboarders.
