About the Faction Prodigy 1
The Faction Prodigy 1.0 mirrors the popular 2.0 shape. The 1.0 ski holds the same approachable values as the rest of the Prodigy range, they're confidence-boosting, durable, and above all, super enjoyable to ride.
Sitting at 88 mm underfoot, the Prodigy 1.0 is the most park and freestyle focused ski of the Prodigy lineup. This width is perfect for laps of the park, carving freshly groomed hard-pack, or bringing tricks out of the park and onto the piste.
The Prodigy 1.0 skis are built to be easy to ride, this allows riders to lay down their creativity on the hill in a relaxed and smooth way. Ample early rise in the tip and tail and a surfy taper zone creates a butter smooth feel. Riders will be in full control on hard snow thanks to the strong camber mid-section. A new change for this year that will be welcome by those who love carving, is the sidewall construction. Sidewalls improve a skis stability and they increase the grip.
Traditional park skis often boast full symmetry, however this is not always beneficial for everyone. Faction have created the Prodigy 1.0 to cater for those riders that require a playful freestyle twin that maintains a directional shape. This improves groomer control and gives a better feel on the mountain outside of the park.
The Prodigy comes in two colour-ways and is truly unisex, its fun for anyone intermediate up to advanced skiers. These skis are so enjoyable to ride that they are a ski of choice for Faction's elite riders including Olympians Alex Hall and Sarah Hoefflin. If you feel most at home alternating between groomers and park then you're sure to get on with these. Due to the playful nature of these skis they are also a great choice for snow domes or dryslope.
