About the Full Tilt (now K2) Classic Pro
Full Tilt's Classic Pro boot keeps things super simple in its tried and tested construction that keeps true to all things Full Tilt and provides amazing performance. It uses their original shell shape, with a medium to narrow 99mm last that's heat mouldable for skiers who need to push out a little more space, so it can work for a wide range of skiers.
3 Piece Construction uses a separate flexing tongue and a pivoting rear cuff to allow a more natural, smooth and progressive flex into the boot, allowing skiers to transmit power to the ski comfortable without distorting the shell, and it provides great shock absorption on landings, too. While this boot comes with a medium/soft 6 flex tongue, these tongues are interchangeable, allowing for stiffer tongues on firm freeride days or a softer ones for pressing your way down some slushy park laps.
There has been some updates to the classic boot- the buckle system now uses metal clasps rather than plastic which boosts durability, and still offers the same pressure-point-free feel that's always been associated with Full Tilt and their cable buckle system. The construction of the shell also allows these boots to feel fairly lightweight compared to traditional all mountain alpine ski boots, which is great for comfort as well as freestyle performance, as you've got less weight to lift when bringing in your grabs and spins.
One of the best features of Full Tilt boots is the Intuition liners. Most people say that these are the best on the market because of the proprietary structure of foam that moulds naturally to the wearers feet. This creates a precise and comfortable fit that gives amazing performance and insulation as well as feeling lightweight. In the Classic uses the Performer wrap liner- a specific intuition liner which wraps around the whole foot and lower leg and is engineered for maximum manoeuvrability and fit around the lower leg.
