The Descendant 8 ski boot is built using the Evolution Shell, based on Full Tilt’s classic 3 piece shell design comprised of upper cuff, lower shell and ribbed tongue but with a wider 102mm footprint that makes it ideal for those with higher volume feet looking for the signature feel found only with Full Tilt boots.

The ribbed tongue allows for a smooth progressive flex for improved control and that eliminates uncomfortable pressure spots. This model comes with a fairly firm 8 flex tongue which makes it versatile- This flex could work for a variety of skiers with fairly light to fairly heavy builds and through a variety of levels of skiing experience. The smooth flex of the boot also makes it ideal for absorbing landings and impacts in the park. However, the tongue is interchangeable and can be easily swapped out for softer or stiffer flexes at any time.

This particular shell utilises the Evolution shell, a wider version of Full Tilt's Classic shell, built to accommodate wider feet without sacrificing the classic feel and performance which Full Tilt boots are famous for. Dual material outsoles made of grippy high grade polymer and a midgrip in the centre of the sole will keep your feet steady on unstable snow, ice, rock, or the slippery sun terrace at your favourite après bar.

As with all Full Tilt models, this shell is fully heat mouldable. When professionally heated, the shell will stretch and contract to fit the contours of the foot, improving fit and reducing pressure points. It will also work in conjunction with the industry-leading Intuition liners to create a truly personalised fit to the whole boot. These tongue-less liners are super warm and are specifically engineered to mould to the individual foot, to provide maximum performance and comfort.
