About the Jones Flagship
The men's Jones Flagship Snowboard represents the pinnacle of freeride performance. Jeremy Jones spent the last 20 years designing this shape and the result is a super high end, ultra-stable fall-line charger. Featuring a directional rocker profile + Traction Tech 3.0 for unmatched edge grip on hard snow and a 3D Contour Base 3.0 the Flagship is ready and waiting for an epic pow day!
The tapered shape sinks the tail in pow for better float and quicker turns, while the FSC Power Core, FSC Engineered Veneer Topsheet and Flax/Basalt Power Stringers add torsional response and reduce board chatter in rough snow. For improved sustainability the Flagship is now built with Bio Resin instead of standard petroleum-based epoxy.
Aesthetically, the Flagship is crafted with style and passion (as is true with all of the Jones line). The Traction Tech 3.0 Magnetraction edges and a super smooth, progressive sidecut, means the Flagship delivers incredible performance and unmatched edge hold in the most challenging conditions.
Under the hood, the Flagship continues to deliver top end construction and cutting edge design features. The all new FSC Power Core is an ultra-premium, triple-density, full wood core that features bamboo stringers for added pop and reduced weight, as well as adding a ton of durability to this snowboard.
The sintered 9900 base is a lightning fast compound that will glide effortlessly over any terrain and hold more wax than nearly all other bases on the market. This freeride snowboard also features Wend natural Wax and Triaxial fibreglass layup to create extra response and precision when ridden on varying snow conditions.
The spoon-shaped 3D Contour Base 3.0 has been designed to smooth out your edge-to-edge transfers, making your turn initially feel more like that of a smooth surfboard. This tech is specifically designed for freeriding, improving your board in three main areas: Glide, Flow and Float - helping you ride even faster in deep pow!
Looking at the camber profile, the Flagship has been equipped with camber underfoot, with a small rocker zone in the tail and a larger rocker zone in the nose. This means the Flagship will be predictable in difficult terrain and have unbelievable performance when cruising on-piste, but will promote a ton of float in the nose to keep you from sinking in the deepest of powder.
