The Jones Storm Chaser Split snowboard is a mountain surfer freeride board designed to take you to the most remote, untouched pow on the mountain.
The Storm Chaser Split also features Traction Tech 1.0 with In & Out Traction edges in splitboard mode. This handy piece of technology improves edge to edge hold, this is a must have for boards featuring a rocker profile to help improve glide in mixed conditions allowing you to hold an edge even on the iciest of faces.
With Jones' Classic Core in combination with biaxial fibreglass, the Storm Chaser Split will feel very responsive that's still fun and forgiving with plenty of pop. This construction also makes the board incredibly durable so you can invest in this deck knowing it's going to last.
The all new Karakoram Ultra Clip 2.0 creates unbeatable tension between each half of the board. These clips are the strongest, lowest profile clips on the market and provide torsional stiffness while the tip and tail clips ensure your board stays connected while hitting those creative lines. They are incredibly easy to repair or replace and can be adjusted, allowing you maintain compression as your board ages.
The Surf Rocker profile designed by surf shaper Chris Christenson, uses rocker in the tip and tail. this combined with a directional flex pattern means the board floats exceptionally well in pow as the nose becomes lifted as the board is weighted, so you can literally surf the mountain in the deepest snow.
The Storm Chaser is a fun volume shifted board that has swapped added length for extra width to provide unapparelled float in powder, it's is designed to be ridden shorter than your regular snowboard to ensure you're grinning from ear to ear.
