About the Jones Ultra Mountain Twin
The 2020 Ultra Mountain Twin features Jones' Ultra Construction, giving this snowboard a huge performance upgrade over the standard Mountain Twin. This versatile freestyle snowboard benefits from the full upgrade package and can ride everything you throw at it.
Jones' Ultra construction not only makes the board significantly lighter, but ensures the board has been comprehensively tested to get the most performance out of every last ounce of material that goes into the snowboards design. Innovative construction techniques and super-light components are also used delivering the best ride the mountain twin can offer!
The lightening fast sintered 9900 base is one of the fastest bases we've ridden. This combined with magnetraction for grip in all conditions and a triple density full wood core making this board super durable as well as powerful and responsive over uneven terrain.
This board holds a solid edge when carving on the piste or turning in powder thanks to mellow magnetraction and the progressive sidecut, which also makes turn initiation much easier at both low and high speeds. Featuring the Directional Camrock camber profile, rocker in the tip and tail ensures the board floats well in deep snow whilst camber in the centre offers response, pop and stability.
The 2020 Ultra Mountain Twin has also been upgraded with Super Sap Bio-Resin. The raw materials used to make Super Sap Bio-Resin are co-products or waste products of other plant-based industrial processes to keep waste to an absolute minimum. On top of this, this re-vamped models has new Power Sustainable Basalt Stringers to keep performance high whilst making the board as eco-friendly as possible.
The Ultra Mountain Twin is not just a one trick pony either, performing all over the mountain from piste to jumps and powder, all with effortless style and ease. This fun snowboard is aimed at intermediate to advanced riders, but progressing beginners will get on really well with it too!
