About the K2 Recon 120 MV Heat Gripwalk
The Recon range from K2 is one of the lightest true 120 flex boots available, packaged in a lightweight construction for maximum comfort and all-mountain performance.
The Recon 120 MV features a Powerlite shell constructed with four different stiffnesses of TPU optimizing wall thickness to achieve a seamless balance of lightweight agility and power. This makes for effortless cruising anywhere on the mountain, cruising up and down stairs, or standing in the lift line on the pow day of the year waiting for the first chair.
The Powerfuse Spyne in the rear of the shell adds strength and lateral stiffness for maximum responsiveness in every type of terrain, with Energy Interlock tech helping produce a smoother flex perfect for progressing skiers. Fastfit Entry utilizes a soft TPU design for fast, easy entry and exit of the boot and is compatible with Gripwalk aftermarket outsoles.
Living up to their name, the Recon 120 Heats include a Therm-ic® heated boot liner to keep your toes toasty even in the coldest conditions. Heated liners are great for deep winter skiing and for skiers who are particularly susceptible to cold extremities, and Therm-ic® make some of the best around. They are made with the finest quality materials and heat levels can be adjusted simply by pressing buttons located at the top of the liner. The batteries and heating elements are fully integrated, and a full charge will give 19 hours of heat. At the end of a long day of skiing, simply plug them in via the micro USB charger and power them up to go again.
The Recon 120 is a boot that will provide performance and support but also warmth and comfort, allowing you to shred the early bird groomers to the slush bumps later on in the day.
