About the Lange RX 90 W
The RX W series takes all the performance of Lange's popular RX range of ski boots and tweaks them to better suit women's anatomy. Comprising of amazingly versatile boots in a variety of fit's and flexes, this series delivers Lange's unique feel and performance to a wide range of skiers.
With 100mm last width and a medium flex of 90 makes the RX 90W very accessible to a range of abilities. This boot is suited for intermediates to continue their progression all the way up to experts with a lighter frame who enjoy a softer boot for better comfort.
Dual Core technology is what sets Lange boots apart from the competition. Rather than joining together various sections of different plastics, Lange boots use a dual injection process to form two solid pieces of the boot's shell, the cuff and the clog. In each of these sections, two different densities of plastic are injected, with more rigid plastics in areas of high power transmission and softer plastics in areas associated with comfort and fit such as the ankle and lower leg. The result is a strong boot that eliminates any unnecessary material seams while promoting comfort and precision simultaneously.
This boot uses Lange's Dual 3D Liner Performance. With 80% of the liner being thermo mouldable, it can be shaped around the skiers foot in store to help achieve that perfect comfort fit. The specific placement of two densities of foam within the liner also improve precision and control when you're out on the slopes. For the women's series, these liners receive some updates! Shin Control is an asymmetric shape to the liners tongue which helps direct and distribute pressure into the boot's flex. This improves power transmission into the skis tip and edges, ultimately allowing for improved ski control, as well as improving comfort. Furthermore, Thinsulate insulation inside the liner helps keep your toes warm even on the coldest days.
