About the LINE Blade W
The LINE Blade is following the new trend of an aggressive all-mountain ski which is designed to charge and carve over fresh groomers whilst still performing in softer snow conditions.
With a waist width of 95mm, the Blade sits comfortably in the all-mountain ski category but they are designed to give as much grip as possible when initiating a turn. Titanal plates are focused across the width of the ski with two independent tip and tail titanal pieces adding extra power and energy. This construction increases edge grip and torsional stiffness essential for maintaining a lively and stable feel to charge around the mountain. A 5-cut geometry, blending 5 different radii shapes into the sidecut of the ski, giving you no boundaries with your turn shapes. The directional flex allows for easy turn initiation as well as allowing you to just bound through the bumps and jumps whilst the stiffer tail gives you superior stability, power, and speed control.
Being an aggressive all-mountain ski to cope with the vibrations from carving on hardpacked surfaces the Blade uses ultra-high density polyethylene vertical walls over the edges to absorb vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission. The Blade also receives a 30% thicker base and edge to increase durability and again to provide an insane sidewall grip for carve turns that leave deep cut trenches in the snow.
The LINE Blade is a new breed of all-mountain directional ski designed for hard-charging on all snow conditions, with the ability to power through turns as you have never experienced before.
