The Montane Anti-Freeze Down Mittens are high-performance deep-winter mitts designed to deliver exceptional warmth in extreme cold. Filled with premium 800+ fill power ExpeDRY goose down they provide instant powerful insulation and are ideal as an emergency warmth booster over liner or fleece gloves. The ExpeDRY hydrophobic down technology uses a permanent chemical-free gold-particle treatment to improve moisture evaporation allowing the down to dry faster and stay lofted even in high humidity.

The outer is constructed from lightweight recycled PERTEX® QUANTUM 20D ripstop nylon engineered to offer downproof performance excellent lofting freedom and a soft comfortable feel. A PFC/PFAS-free DWR finish sheds light moisture while a waterproof fabric on the palm enhances weather protection and durability when handling gear. Synthetic insulation is added in the palm area for reliable warmth even when compressed during gripping.

Baffled construction maximises loft and thermal efficiency while articulated shaping improves comfort and basic dexterity. A gauntlet cuff with adjustable closure seals out snow and wind and the elasticated wrist helps maintain a secure fit.
