The Montane Men's Polaron XT Hooded Down Jacket is a warm windproof down parka designed for cold-weather lifestyle use and off-mountain winter adventures. Built with high-performance materials and an extended silhouette it delivers reliable insulation protection and comfort in harsh seasonal conditions.
The outer uses 30D Pertex® Quantum recycled nylon ripstop a durable windproof fabric engineered to protect loft and shed light rain and snow thanks to its PFC/PFAS-free DWR finish. Inside the jacket is filled with premium 750+ fill power ExpeDRY™ recycled down (268g in size 12) which uses a permanent chemical-free gold-particle bonding treatment to improve moisture evaporation and maintain warmth in humid or damp environments.
Stitch-through baffle construction keeps insulation lightweight and packable while the REACH+ pattern optimises arm lift and mobility for active winter use. An extended body length insulated centre-front placket and deep hand-warmer pockets provide enhanced seasonal protection and everyday comfort.
The fully adjustable baffled hood offers complete coverage in poor weather and the self-sealing cuffs and adjustable waist drawcord help lock in heat. Additional features include covered YKK Natulon® recycled hand pockets an internal zipped chest pocket and offset seam construction for better durability and comfort.
