About the Montane Respond Insulated Mittens
The Montane Respond Insulated Mittens are ultralight packable mitts designed to deliver rapid reliable warmth when temperatures drop. Constructed with a 100% recycled PERTEX® Quantum outer they trap warm air efficiently shed light moisture and allow the insulation to loft fully supported by a PFC-free DWR for added protection. Their low weight and compressible build make them ideal for stashing in a pack or pocket until needed.
Inside PrimaLoft® Gold 60g/m² insulation provides exceptional warmth-to-weight performance maintaining insulating ability even in damp conditions. A soft brushed microfleece lining enhances next-to-skin comfort and dries fast during active use. Pre-curved shaping improves comfort and basic dexterity while touchscreen-compatible faux-leather overlays allow quick interaction with devices without removing the mitts.
Elasticated wrists block out cold drafts and top-stitch quilting increases durability for extended use. Each pair packs neatly into the included recycled stuffsack making the Respond Mittens a dependable choice for lightweight hiking mountaineering ski touring and cold-weather emergency layering.
