The Montane Windjammer Windproof Helmet Liner is a technical low-profile hat engineered for full-weather protection in exposed mountain environments. Designed to be worn comfortably under a climbing cycling or ski helmet it combines GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER® technology around the headband with a highly breathable fleece-backed crown for warmth without overheating.
The WINDSTOPPER® headband delivers unparalleled windproof defence where it’s needed most shielding the ears and forehead from biting gusts while the soft recycled micro-grid fleece backer enhances comfort during long days in cold conditions. The crown uses APEX THERMO stretch fabric for excellent warmth-to-weight performance wicking capability and POLYGIENE® odour control for multi-day use.
Ergonomically shaped with targeted ear coverage and finished with low-bulk flatlocked seams the Windjammer fits cleanly beneath helmets of all types. Its combination of warmth wind protection and breathability makes it ideal for mountaineering winter hiking ski touring and high-output cold-weather missions.
