About the Never Summer Maverix
The 2019 Never Summer Maverix snowboard uses Never Summer's brand new Fusion Rocker Camber Profile for an incredibly smooth ride designed to give vice like edge hold which is perfect for precision in hard and icy conditions. The underfoot camber blends into rocker in the rest of the board, giving the rider pop & powder performance for a true all-mountain experience.
Featuring the Vario Power Grip Sidecut which gives you the control you need for your speed. It has a straight section between the bindings, a shallow radius section under the feet and a deep radius section on the contact points.
The Vario Power Grip Sidecut gives riders quick turn initiation and better edge hold by creating more contact points along the edge. No one likes having an edge wash out, the Power Grip sidecut prevents this and allows you to keep control in icy and windblown conditions.
The Maverix features the incredible RDS 2 Damping System, but also Never Summer's Underfoot Stabilisers. Packed full of damping layers and vibration absorption technology, these two features working together give you an unbelievably smooth ride and much improved stability at high speeds.
With a slightly wider waist width than average, the Maverix has a significantly large surface area, giving you more options when it comes to choosing a size. For a more nimble & playful ride, you can go 10cm less than your standard ride, perfect for darting in & out of the trees and allowing for playful riding in all conditions. If you want a more cushy ride that is super responsive, feel free to go up 10cm from standard - it's up to you!
