About the Nidecker Merc

The Nidecker Merc snowboard has been designed for riders looking to have fun on the mountain, and improve all aspects of the way they ride. The directional shape with only a 1cm difference between the nose and the tail gives the board great drive but makes it easy to ride switch.

Constructed with Nidecker's super-light Master Core, which uses a mix of poplar, beech, spruce, and paulownia, the Merc offers a superior weight-to-performance-to-power ratio, and an ultra-strong, uber-responsive, yet lightweight snowboard. Mix this with some Premium Sandwich construction and CamRock camber and you have an all-mountain board that is easy to ride and ready for anything.

The awesome-looking deck features Absorbnid tech, this is an innovative top layer that has been developed to absorb unwanted vibrations, which results in a responsive and dynamic board which still gives you a smooth ride without board chatter.

Nidecker wanted to make the Merc more reactive with even more pop, to achieve this they strategically placed carbon fibres from the nose to the front inserts and the tail to the rear inserts. This will also dampen vibrations, perfect for a more aggressive riding style.

The fast and extremely durable sintered N-5000 base is designed to absorb wax, retaining it longer. This base will take you anywhere and over anything. Finished off with a Matte finish and some jaw-dropping graphics, this board looks stunning up-close.
