The Team TLS uses Nitro's awesome TLS 5 Twin Lacing, which is a quick lace system with upper and lower fastening zones for a quick yet custom fit. This super durable system is unique to Nitro and makes small adjustments on the mountain lightning fast.

Nitro's D3O enhanced Cloud 9 liner and Otholite dual-density footbed ensure your heel is locked in place while providing all-day cushioning comfort. This cunning D3O tech is a patented smart material known for its use in protective gear and impact-resistant products. The material is soft and flexible at rest, but upon impact, it instantly hardens due to non-Newtonian polymers within a dilatant fluid. This unique property allows D3O to provide effective impact protection without sacrificing comfort or flexibility. Widely applied in sports, industrial, electronics, and military contexts, D3O is utilized in helmets, knee pads, gloves, and other gear, offering a combination of comfort and enhanced impact resistance by dynamically adapting its stiffness in response to sudden forces.

The liner of the Team TLS boot is also heat moldable so you can get a perfect fit with total response and comfort. The Icetrek Vibram outsole will get you climbing the summit with ease, while the air dampening in the heels will ensure you have the best underfoot cushioning. For extra warmth, the Team TLS boots are fitted with Therminator Shield tech, which is a reflective shield in the inner boot that keeps heat in where it belongs, perfect for those mid-winter chills.
