The 2019 Northwave Domain CR snowboard boot has been designed purposely for back country riding! Packed with tech to withstand travelling through pow and ice safely. This boot has a firm flex, tailor made for advanced riders looking for optimum energy and power transfer when pushing hard.

This version of the Domain boots is equipped with a freeride dedicated Crampons sole, a collaboration with Vibram to provide the best possible grip and stability allowing riders to hike through the backcountry, traverse frozen slopes and ascents while mountaineering.

The Super Lace system is Northwave's speed lacing system that allows closure of two different boot areas, allowing a better and quicker fit that is not only a custom fit to your own personal preference, but will last all day. This is improved with the CAB-5 540 Heel retention system, a system for tightening the liner to the foot when the laces are tightened to avoid any heel lift.

The boot comes fitted with a TF3 liner, a Thermo-fit foam liner designed to fit the target zones which can either be heat moulded, or moulded with repeated use over time. The liner webbing avoids the uncomfortable pressure points, and place padding at the right pressure points to give perfect interface. This is held down by the ankle power strap to get an even better fit.

By using an enforced TPU arch to envelop the foot from the sole to the calf, you have a perfect connection with your binding and board, giving you all the support required for when you're hiking in the backcountry. Domain reinforcement continues to evolve, used in the outsole, this technology allows even more power transmission and great support for all types of riding.
