About the Oakley Mod1
The MOD 1 helmet for kids is a lightweight low profile design inspired by the traditional skate style. New to the helmet market, Oakley has invested time into constructing helmets with exceptional fit and performance, twinned with their successful goggle range.
Through a Boa 360 fit system at the rear, it allows the helmet to be adjusted to fit growing heads, perfect for youngsters. A Fidlock buckle on the chin strap means that the helmet can be easily clipped in or undone with one hand, even when wearing gloves.
Oakley has included their Brim ventilation technology in the Mod 1. It's a fully integrated goggle/helmet system guarantees efficient venting and heat management. With perfectly aligned brim vents, the MOD 1 aids cooling, allowing heat to escape from the goggles. This in turn reduces fogging, improving clarity of vision with additional exhaust ports/adjustable vents at the back of the helmet.
Featuring an In-Mould construction, the MOD 1 effectively reduces weight and enhances comfort. Ensuring breathability and freshness, the liner is removable, washable, and can be replaced with a beanie. Comfort is reinforced through Oakley's No-Pressure ear cups which eradicate discomfort to the ears, a common problem amongst helmet designs.
