The ultralight Kroma ski mountaineering pack from Rab is built to take a beating and offers offer alpinists and mountaineers a wealth of utility and strength for minimum weight.

Constructed with Spectra® fibres that are 15 times stronger than steel for their relative weight, this alpine pack can withstand the most rugged rock and ice so is literally built to take a beating. Rab has further reinforced their already tough nylon fabric composition and combined this with a HydroShield water-resistant finish to create a pack that is UV, water and abrasion and tear-resistant.

This backpack is streamlined and features top tensioners to stabilise the load close to your body. The X-SHIELD™ back system is designed to sit close to your back to give you complete freedom of movement with dual-density foam straps for even better mobility. With thicker padding at the top for comfort, and thinner lower down, the straps contour the body and move with you.

Packed full of features to ensure your gear is easily accessible whenever you need it, the Kroma comes equipped with a diagonal ski carry with a tough metal hook, a secure rope carry strap and ice axe attachments with a removable lash. Built with a rapid access avalanche equipment pocket, it has a two-way zip with a bright orange zip puller that is designed to always close in the same position – so in the blur of disaster you know exactly where to find it.
