About the Rossignol Experience 84 Ai
The 2021 Experience 84 AI skis are part of Rossignol’s updated Experience all mountain range. Much like the previous versions of this range, the Experience is all about on piste performance and all mountain versatility. The range for this year sees race and freeride technologies meet to inspire confidence all over the hill.
The Experience 84 skis are for confident intermediate skiers through to advanced riders that are looking to carve precise turns on piste but also venture away from the trails into fresh snow, bumps, and chopped up variable conditions. Simply put - a great all-rounder for adventurous riders.
Rossignol’s new LCT technology runs through the centre of the ski, this is a rail that extends the full length of the core to give rebound and stability throughout the entire length of the turn. LCT is especially beneficial when performing fast or high energy turns.
LCT is offered in different materials to suit different styles of skiing. This model uses ABS which is a plastic which excellent dampening materials. ABS is slightly softer than the alternative Titanal material featured in the Experience 88 and 94, as such this ski is slightly more flexible and playful throughout the turn.
The tip of the ski contains the Air Tip which is an innovative honeycomb design which lowers swing weight and helps absorb vibrations caused by variable terrain. This helps to calm the ride to give the rider more control.
The 84 model is geared slightly more geared to piste than the wider models in the range, as such we would recommend this for those that love groomed snow but also want to be able to experience the rest of what the mountain has to offer.
- LCT HD Core Ai - This racing technology delivers maximum power and stability in every condition. An ABS rail runs through the ski to firm up the flex and absorb shock, the result is energetic carved turns all over the hill
- Air Tip - This is an exclusive Rossignol technology, the tip has a honeycomb construction, therefore most of it is filled with air. This focuses the weight in the centre of the ski which maximises control and power beneath the skiers feet
- VAS - Vibration dampener in the tip to give a more stable ride
- All Terrain Rocker - 70% Camber/30% Tip Rocker. A long and progressive tip rocker increases soft snow versatility and playfulness while the strong camber zone gives hard snow rebound and precision
- Rectangular Sidewall - The Experience's sidewall's gives vice like grip on piste for carving confidence at speed
