About the Salomon OUTback 500 GTX
The Salomon OUTback 500 GTX Hiking Boot captures the sleek athletic style of the OUT range and combines it with all the workings of a reliable backpacking boot
With its mid-cut profile, the OUTback 500 GTX offers support around the ankles, providing stability in more difficult conditions. The Advanced Chassis keeps the weight of the boot down and keeps you moving with ease. The upper is made from tough Cordura which will stand up to any adventure. It also has a gusseted tongue to further prevent debris from getting in.
An EnerygCell EVA midsole provides premium cushioning and works with the breathable molded Ortholite sockliner to absorb shock and impacts whilst out on a winter hike. This helps to reduce fatigue so that you can keep on exploring.
The outsole is made from Contagrip MD rubber, which is incredibly tough and durable. It provides reliable grip across many different terrains, and features a lug pattern that performs on hard, soft, smooth and loose surfaces.
