The Salomon Quest Element GTX is a backpacking shoe with outstanding stability and support. This boot fuses the lightness and flexibility of Salomon's iconic QUEST model with a stabilizing chassis and a high cut so you can go hard and fast in full protection and total comfort.

Made from high-quality and durable Nubuck leather with a Gore-Tex lining, you can be sure your boots will stay tall for years to come and keep your feet feeling dry and fresh along your hike.

A moulded EVA EnergyCell midsole provides lightweight cushioning and stability, while the Ortholite sockliner creates a cool, dry, and better-cushioned environment under the foot. The midsole and outsole feature a new ADV-C 4D Chassis which protects sensitive ankle articulations for extra stability while keeping the front of the shoe flexible so you can maintain responsive energy-efficient movement.

Every step you make will be accommodated by a sticky Contagrip sole which features lugs in all the right places to displace mud and offer ultimate traction on any terrain.
