About the Salomon S/Force 11
The Brand new S/Force range is new to Salomon's Frontside range and is all about piste performance, these skis are built for skiers who like to ski all the marked trails on the mountain and confidently ride in all types of snow, from ice to end of season slush.
The S/Force 11 skis are a great choice for advanced skiers who spend the majority of their time on piste conditions and like to ski at speed through any snow conditions. The 2021 S/Force 11 features a Poplar core reinforced with a double titanal layer to provide you with an extremely powerful ski with lightning-fast responsiveness and huge amounts on edge grip even on hard-pack surfaces. This construction is great for reducing vibration and delivering optimum stability and powerful rebound at high speeds
The core is enclosed by a Full sandwich construction and Salomon's new edge amplifier technology. Edge amplifier helps to transmit 100% of the energy you put into the ski to the edges, so combined with a full sidewall this ski creates an unmatched edge grip even when your really pushing it. Also new to Salomon is the Crossover tip construction, this layered make up of TPU, carbon, and flax replace areas of titanium for a lighter tip that's better at reducing vibrations and absorbing variations in terrain so you can cut through chopped up conditions.
At 80 mm underfoot the S/Force 11 is an all-mountain carver that excels at carving on piste but has the power and necessary width to take on cruddy or deeper snow conditions if the slopes get chopped up with heavy snow. It also has great dampening capabilities to cope with the large volume of vibrations and stress transferring through the ski at high speeds. The Pulse Pad is a layer of rubber running along the edges of the ski for a smooth ride and increased durability.
The 2021 Salomon S/Force 11 is a great choice for skiers who are going to spend most of their time on piste and want to ski at speed laying down carves but also want a ski that has an insane edge grip, terrain absorption, and power. It is combined with the advanced X12 TL binding with a din range and components to cope with fast power transitions between turns.
