About the Salomon Super 8

The Salomon Super 8 is a snowboard inspired by the riding styles of Wolle Nyvelt and Josh Dirksen. The design aims to provide a surfboard-like feel whilst also maintaining excellent edge control thanks to Salomon's high-tech design features.

The Super 8 Backseat camber is one of the defining features of this snowboard. The addition of a cambered section under the back foot offers the rider explosive power to maximize turning ability and a flat section under the front foot provides freedom of board movement and fun when riding in powder.

Built using the Aspen Strong Select core and Popster construction the snowboard retains a predictable flex and offers a natural snap and powerful pop all the while saving on weight.

Salomon's Rocket Science Technology keeps the snowboard stable but also ensures it remains easily maneuverable. as well and BiaxGlass fiberglass ensures a consistent level of quality is maintained.

A Quadratic sidecut makes the board easy to initiate turns and makes changing direction effortless during the transition between edges.

All of these features make the Super 8 easy to ride anywhere on the mountain whether floating through powder or charging on freshly groomed corduroy.
