About the Vans Infuse Hybrid Boa
At the top of Vans' snowboard boot line, the Infuse mixes classic Vans style with state-of-the-art features and tech to deliver a high-end, all-mountain boot that won't let you down.
The hybrid plus closure Boa system uses traditional laces from top to bottom with the Boa dial that specifically surrounds your instep area to pull your foot back into the boot and give a secure fit. This combination holds your foot much tighter than that of traditional lacing and allows you to make adjustments on the go without having to fully undo your laces. Vans' Custom Slide Guide is an anatomically shaped pad that can be moved along the Boa closure system to provide added comfort along the instep area and provide maximum heel hold.
The Infuse gives riders the option to custom tune the flex of these boots thanks to the Vans Flex Control System. By choosing the arrangement of the two removable internal tongue stiffeners, the rider can choose to maximize support by leaving both in, increase lateral and medial response by using one, and for a softer boot with more flex remove both. This gives you the option of a softer flexing boot that is great for all-mountain riding and a medium/stiff boot that is great for freeride and backcountry riding. The Flex Control System also ensures a consistent and smooth flex without the boot's shell interfering.
The Infuse has been fitted with Vans' top liner - the V3 UltraCush Liner, which is fully heat moldable for a perfect fit. The adjustable/removable X-Cage keeps your foot fully locked down to eliminate heel lift and maximize response and control, whilst the closed-seam microsuede cuff and tongue together with the Comfort Flex toe box offer unbeatable comfort from the first lift until the last. The V3 Liners have been updated with North Face Flashdry tech to create a liner with advanced breathability capabilities to keep your feet dry, reducing discomfort when riding for longer periods.
Finished off with an outer construction that is treated to give a durable, waterproof upper that also looks amazing, a comfy V3 PopCush Footbed, a grippy V3 Waffle Superendo Outsole with All Trac cold weather rubber compound, and breathable valves, the Infuse represents the pinnacle of dynamics and performance from Vans and is a must-have for advanced riders who want customizable boots.
