About the Vaude Terra Hogan 2
Built for lightweight carry and protection from harsh weather conditions, the Vaude Terra Hogan 2 is a versatile tent made for 3-season wild camping and backpacking.
The Terra Hogan 2 uses the same classic Hogan design but trades out the internal poling for a fast-pitching exoskeleton pole architecture. Simply anchor the pole ends and then wrap the bungee cord over the pole frame before securing with the external fly-hooks. This style of design is great for camping in more exposed terrain and when pitching in time-sensitive situations.
The sharp profile delivers optimum stability, with a central spine shape built to cut through winds. A drawn forward dome design optimises internal space with room enough for 2-persons with a single entrance and porch for stowing gear and food prep. The porch design lets you unzip whichever side is not exposed to prevailing winds for ease of access. A two-way zip allows it to be fully opened or unzipped at the top for ventilation without sacrificing weather protection.
A taped seam 75D polyester ripstop flysheet keeps the pack weight low with a PU waterproof treatment delivering 5000mm hydrostatic head for storm-level waterproofing. Vaude's eco-friendly design is in accordance with the strict bluesign® standard, with a PFC-free construction throughout.
A favourite among trekkers and climbers looking for a robust camping shelter, the Terra Hogan 2 hiking tent gives you Vaude's renowned construction that won't let you down when the weather does. A lightweight backpacking shelter with practical comfort to see you through harsh conditions.
