About the Volkl Revolt 96
Built for jibbing and urban environments, the Revolt skis are Volkl's freestyle pride and joy having been developed in partnership with some of their top athletes. Like other members of the Revolt family, the 96 excels in this speciality, whilst additionally filling the gap of a great all-mountain freestyle ski that will make it anywhere on the mountain.
Even with a nimble waist width, the Revolt 96 is an extremely versatile ski that performs well in all areas of skiing. The use of a 3 Radius Sidecut, which combines 3 different sidecut geometries into one, allows the ski to perform well during quick snappy turns as well as long, off-piste S-bend turns. The use of a full sidewall allows for maximum stability and hold before you're about to jump off a large booter.
With a multi-layer wood core, the Revolt skis have a powerful pop with confidence-inspiring stability. This construction lends itself to hopping onto rails, spinning off kickers, and stomping some serious tricks. With a nimble sidecut measurement, the skis have a sleek surface area, aiding manoeuvrability. The Brushed Base Construction and P-Tex 3000
base provides optimum agility and gliding, making turns smooth and easy.

- Full Sidewall/Mini Cap - Sidewalls are strong and protect the cores from damage, furthermore they give excellent grip and accuracy on hard snow. Mini cap overlapping provides the best durability
- Multi-layer Wood Core - Use of two woods for different areas of the ski. Ash is used underfoot to provide stability and secure screw retention. Poplar at either end provides resilience and snap
- Tip and Tail Rocker - Early rise in the tips and tails gives all mountain versatility, a playful feel, and makes turning smooth and easy
- Twin Tip - Twin tip construction for skiing/landing backwards
- P-Tex 3000 Base- A sintered ultra high-density and high molecular polyethylene base with great gliding characteristics and high durability
