About the Karakoram Prime Straightline

The Straightline is Karakoram's most responsive and stiffest binding yet, perfect for the backcountry and epic tours on the mountainside and off-piste.

The Straighline uses Carbon Highbacks that utilise a biaxial weave and multi-layer layup to provide a combination of stiffness and comfort. Karakoram have included their Dual Ride-Stride Forward Lean adjustment that allows for you to switch between Walk and ride mode really easily, allowing you to conserve energy whether touring or riding. The X-Carbon is also compatible with Karakoram's Flex-Lock for increased performance.

Featuring an Open Chassis, the Staightline reduces the impact of the binding on the torsional flex of the board, allowing it to twist naturally under the binding and improving edge to edge control. Karakoram bindings also use Active Joining which pre-loads the board to give instant response.

For a responsive binding with no slop, the Straightline is a beast for splitboarding in the backcountry.
