The Smith Squad is an exceptional ski/snowboard goggle that offers a wide field of vision, comfort, and unbeatable value for money.
The Squad comes fitted with a Smith cylindrical lens that reduces the overall price of the goggle but still guarantees subline performance by using the most up-to-date lens technology. The carbonic-x lens has been manufactured with tapered lens technology that works to correct the refraction of incoming light and guarantee exceptional vision across the entire width of the goggle.
This goggle is also highly comfortable and has a superb fit. The medium size means the Squad will fit and look good on most people and also helps create an excellent field of vision. Extremely soft dual-layer face foam helps maintain a comfortable fit while sealing out the elements and wicking away sweat. With a Fog-X anti-fog inner lens the Squad ski/snowboard goggle helps reduce the chance of fogging even in wet and humid conditions. Smith's responsive fit frame micro adjusts to adapt to the contours of your face which are held securely in place with the dual strap adjustment strap.
With a bonus alternative light lens included (excluding photochromatic goggles) the Squad will have you fully prepared for any weather condition and will keep you skiing/snowboarding from first lift to last. Its stripped-back no fuss design creates a resilient and tough goggle that doesn't skimp on performance.
Ours came what appears like slightly damaged. Lense edge on one side was fought like it has been scraped (maybe against a helmet from a display model?). The nose fitting wasn’t comfortable and there were gaps between the lense and the foam which seems cheap and poorly made. Possibly faulty and I understand a warranty claim was made. Either so quality control somewhere was missed. Replaced with Oakley Flight Decks which are way more comfy and the lense fitting round the foam and goggles it much tighter (no visual gaps you can see through). For the retail price I’d expect much better quality. Gone back to Oakley.

The strap had a strange sticky strip on it, almost as if the silicone band had melted? All the packaging was stuck to it and it came off if you touched it. I returned it, got a new one and the new one had the same problem! The customer service was very good though
